indie is an Autotech solutions innovator. We focus on edge sensors spanning multiple modalities including LiDAR, radar, ultrasound and vision for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), autonomous vehicles, connected car, user experience and electrification applications.

The design team at indie Semiconductor develops integrated circuits targeting automotive applications that integrate micro-controller, analog, mixed signal and power management functions to bring a complete solution to our international customer base. The engineer in this position will join a small team of highly competent engineers that are creating brand new designs in the field of advanced driver assistance systems.


Reporting to a verification lead, you will be responsible for all aspects of pre-silicon digital verification necessary to ensure a bug-free first silicon.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Understanding test benches in UVM, being able to modify and add components to the environment when necessary, and the corresponding tests.

  • Collaborate in the definition and creation of test-plan

  • Collaborate in the definition and creation of cover groups, cover points and assertions

  • Creation of random and constrained random test cases

  • Specification and collection of functional & code coverage

  • Define and maintain regressions

  • Analysis of regression results, including debugging of errors and functional and code coverage.

  • Solid understanding of random and constrained random testing using UVM

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as a proactive approach to problem solving

  • Demonstrated, progressive hands-on experience with industry standard verification tools, specifications, protocols and VIP

  • Good troubleshooting and debugging capabilities

  • Predisposition for team work

  • Experience with Version Control Systems (Git)

  • Ability to work efficiently in a remote and highly international work culture

  • Excellent communication skills in English

  • Preferred: Knowledge of OOP & scripting experience in Python
